Job description

Are you an experienced Support Worker who can manage challenging behaviours?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Male Support Workers to work with our service user, who requires 24-hour support.

We are looking to recruit a dedicated team who are reliable and be the consistent support this man requires.

He has epilepsy and has frequent seizures throughout the day and night, due to this 24-hour care is required to keep him safe and monitor these.

Following his seizure, he can become agitated and at times aggressive, and through no fault of his own can lash out.

You will have experience of managing challenging behaviours and diffusing situations, epilepsy awareness / experience will be advantageous.

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time
  • Days - 8am - 8pm
  • Nights - 8pm - 8am
  • 24 hours per week

Our ideal applicants will be flexible to support both days & nights

Due to the occupational requirements of this role we are only recruiting Male support workers.

Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement (GOR) in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for a male worker to work with our client.
