Are you experienced in delivering complex & clinical care to children & young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a lovely young boy who lives with his family in Grimsby.
He enjoys spending time with his family, particularly playtime with his twin brother and his older sister which is very important to him and them. The family also have two small dogs within the home which are a big part of family life.
We are putting together a small team of carers that need to be reliable, have a bubbly personality and able interact with this young boy whilst being able to meet his care needs.
Our service user relies heavily on others to meet all aspects of his care, so its important that his team can communicate with him and understand his wishes, desires and needs.
Although he is unable to communicate verbally, our service user has no cognitive impairment and is a very clever young boy. Therefore, its important that his care team interact with him like they would with any other child of his age.
This is a great opportunity for a committed individual who has a genuine interest in working with children and young people.
Our ideal applicant will be experienced in, or have exposure to, delivering complex clinical care however, this is not essential.
Essential Experience Required
We have the following shifts available;
An occupational requirement for this position is that his care team will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to joining his team. In addition, his care team are required to complete regular COVID-19 tests every 72 hours.
