We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a young man in his teens who lives with his loving family in Blackburn.
He requires a dedicated care team to support his care needs throughout the day.
He enjoys listening to music and exploring various bright colours. He loves to go out socialising and spending quality time with his family and care team. At home he will relax in bed playing on his iPad and enjoys watching T.V, especially his favourite programme Horrid Henry.
Throughout the day you will ensure all his care needs are met, providing support with his personal care, moving and handling, being vigilant to his care needs and attending to his clinical care needs when required.
He is unable to communicate verbally and will use facial expressions to make his wants and needs known. To avoid him becoming distressed or frustrated, you will spend time to get to know his unique signals and cues.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
